Yet, in our rapid modern age, the opportunity to study this profound discipline through the traditional Gurukul system is almost impossible. The modern seeker is left with a paradox: astrology is universally accessible—horoscopes are generated instantly, and algorithms churn out predictions—but this convenience has come at a steep cost to authenticity and depth.

In my five decades of practice, I've observed a critical flaw: a vast majority of current readings rely only on planetary transits. While transits can sometimes be accurate, they rarely tell the complete story. I have faced disappointed students whose predicted marriage or major life event failed to materialize. The outcome of any major event is not determined by transits alone; it is a complex interplay of Doshas (such as Pitru or Kula doshas), the influence of Dashas, and the fine details of divisional charts like Navamsa and Saptamsa. A surface-level reading will inevitably miss these crucial factors. Half-baked knowledge is not just dangerous; it misguides and harms.

True astrological practice demands reverence and sincerity. It requires the astrologer to be in a clear, meditative state, practicing in the correct Muhurta (auspicious time). It is not meant to be a casual dinner-table debate.

Our initiative provides the structured learning necessary to systematize and deepen your knowledge beyond mere surface-level prediction.

Astrology is not about blind belief; it is about providing wisdom, perspective, and clarity. Time and again, I have seen its unique power illuminate complex issues, such as medical ailments that baffle modern diagnostic tools. A skilled medical astrologer offers a unique lens, providing reassurance and guidance through difficult moments that traditional tests cannot fully explain.

But let me be clear: An astrologer is not God. Our role is not to declare absolutes, but to serve as humble interpreters. We must always conclude, "This is what I see, but the final outcome rests with the divine." We are merely actors; the Supreme Director remains beyond us.

This ancient science, when approached with humility and depth, can illuminate life's path in ways no algorithm ever could. The first step on this path is to deeply study your own cosmic blueprint.

I never imagined that I would one day start a school.
My journey into astrology has been both transformative and humbling — one of deep questioning, revelation, and awe.

I began studying astrology as a curious teenager, searching for meaning and clarity. Like many, I was fascinated by the stars and longed to understand myself more deeply. When I moved to a new country, I faced an identity crisis that challenged everything I believed about who I was. Then, by chance, I discovered an old copy of my birth chart tucked away in the attic. That single moment changed everything.

At first, it was cryptic. But over time, the chart began to speak. Its patterns mirrored my life in ways too precise to ignore. And even now, after years of study, I can tell you this with certainty: I am still learning to understand my own birth chart.

Astrology is a vast ocean of wisdom. It invites us to dive deep — to move beyond curiosity and into communion with the Divine that lives within us. As we study it, our perception expands. We begin to witness the intelligence of nature, the rhythm of time, and our place within the great cosmic order. It offers perspective. It offers purpose. And above all, it restores our link to the Self.

When I first began, astrology wasn’t widely accessible online. My earliest guidance came from the writings of Dr. B.V. Raman — a brilliant light in modern astrology. Years later, under the guidance of my Guru in the Himalayas, my understanding deepened beyond intellect. It became experiential — a living science that spoke to every layer of consciousness.

Today, I am grateful to live in a world where so many sincere astrologers share this sacred knowledge. Each post, lecture, and class is a step toward awakening collective awareness.

So, why create this school?
Because astrology deserves to be taught with integrity, discipline, and heart.

I believe that every student carries a spark of insight that can illuminate the world. Through learning and reflection, each of us contribute to the preservation of this divine science.

My vision for the Atma Bodha School of Astrology is to make astrology a path to awareness — a means to understand ourselves, our purpose, and our place in the greater whole. When practiced with sincerity, astrology becomes a living pathway toward Ātma Bodha — the realization of the True Self.
